“What a man is, expresses itself in what he does; what he does determines his destiny”

What I Do

I Teach.

As a 15 year veteran teacher, I believe my life’s mission is to positively impact students and provide them an experience that shapes their futures.  Students are sponges and look to soak in any and everything you can teach them.

I Speak.

As a motivational speaker for 7 years I traveled the country speaking to teachers and students about the generational communication differences and how to bridge the ever widening communication gap.

I Write.

In 2015, my autobiography, The First Chair hit the shelf.  This story of my basketball coaching journey included basketball coaching tips, stories and leadership guidance for young aspiring coaches.

“I believe your presentation went straight to the heart of the challenges and opportunities that our students will face and helped inspire them to accept and welcome the challenges and take them on at full force. I believe it was a powerful and engaging speech and would love to have the opportunity to have you speak to our students again and again.” – Fortis College Administrator

“…I observed his exceptional classroom management skills. He has created an encouraging environment for his students. His students relate well with him.” – Dale Link Arcadia High, Supervising Administrator

“Scott Lovely is one of the best college professors I have ever had. I would recommend his classes to anyone. He is dedicated, knowledgable, engaged and has an easy, smooth teaching style.” – Kathy Walker, Community College Student
